Big Village Launch
Saturday, August 7, 2010 at 11:31PM Mix of true vibe and sleek boys, dykelets in the crowd and round brown ladies and Pacificans. Topped skinny bagged out tall young uns serious and serious about loving their matescrew. Spot the odd older head or previous gen or half gen step up. Sando scene of metal rock punk and my own and exes gigs now a level above punched into the side wall to make loft for bouncing sound. Tension between positivity love of true vibe and grey black of boughs. Spunky edgy girls in crew but more more more needed onstage not just as girlfriends. Looooossssseeeee ccchhhaaannngggeee. Loving, though, I must say, seeing Australian males move and talk and spit and bounce. I get happy funny at the sight.

reviews MC artisans
Saturday, July 17, 2010 at 12:05AM A thought about MCs after catching Optimen and Ozi Batla at the FBi Radio Stolen Records ball. Numbers, MCs in numbers. That I can have collaborators onstage to share the force. That there are so many ideas that I have in terms if rhythmically layering phrases between more than one MC. And also, that it's possible to under utilise three MCs. That one can be as or more strong.
Girls
Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 3:41PM Still room for more girls in battles at Platform 3. One beat boxer and one b girl so far. Lotta live here. There is competition and it seems here in an Australian context to be a kit lid lice here as well. Competition can inspire.
